The Defender is crafted at the MGE Cigars Factory in Nicaragua in a 6½" x 52 toro format. A Cameroon wrapper covers a Nicaraguan Criollo binder and Nicaraguan fillers, giving the cigar a familiar Nicaraguan foundation with the aromatic sweetness and spice commonly associated with Cameroon leaf. While The Defender was developed alongside El Mago Offender (think yin and yang), the blend is plenty capable of standing on its own.
