About this cigar
--> Espinosa Cigars expands one of the company’s most recognizable lines with the Laranja Hybrid, a blend that keeps Brazilian tobacco at the center of the story. The original Laranja Reserva cigar was built around an orange-hued Brazilian wrapper leaf, while later versions pushed the profile darker and fuller. Espinosa Laranja Hybrid takes a different approach, using Brazilian tobacco inside the blend and pairing it with a darker Ecuadorian wrapper for a fresh take on the series. Crafted at La Zona Cigar Factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, the Laranja Hybrid cigar features an Ecuadorian Habano oscuro wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua and Brazil. The cigar is offered in two box-pressed sizes, a 6" x 48 Short Churchill and a 6" x 52 Toro, giving the line a tighter focus than some of Espinosa’s larger families. Medium to full in body, Laranja Hybrid is built to carry the richness and spice associated with the Laranja name while introducing a different balance between its Nicaraguan and Brazilian components. The result is a darker, fuller expression that feels nicely connected to the line’s roots without simply repeating what came before.
