About this cigar
For 45 years, Quesada owned the Fonseca Cigar line. Before that, the brand was established in 1892 in Cuba by Francisco E. Fonseca, an innovator in the cigar industry. Francisco is credited with having the idea to wrap cigars in both a tin foil tube as well as a Japanese style paper, both designed to protect cigars from damage. This heritage brand has been on the US market at least 40 years and has once again received a new owner. One of the most well-known and successful companies in the cigar industry, My Father Cigars, has lovingly taken Fonseca into it’s already expansive portfolio and fully reworked the line.
